Praised for his “burnished tone, spellbinding technique, and probing musical mind”, cellist Brannon Cho has emerged as an outstanding artist of his generation. He is the First Prize winner of the prestigious 6th International Paulo Cello Competition, and is also a top prize winner of the Queen Elisabeth, Naumburg, and Cassadó International Cello Competitions.
In creating a website for Brannon, we focused on highlighting his international performance career and making it easy to navigate for two different audiences - Brannon's audience and music industry professionals (managers, promoters, journalists, etc.)
To make it easy for visitors to find Brannon's performances in their country, we added a "filter by country" functionlaity to the events page. For managers and organizers, we created special pages where they can learn everything they need to know about the artist and download it.
Each page of the musician's website must serve its own purpose. Clear navigation and division of content between pages is the key to a user-friendly website.
When creating a website for cellist Brannon Cho, we created two navigation menus:
The About page contains not only the biography, photos and videos. We have also added a section where visitors can download the biography in different languages.
The Gallery page also contains a download section with photos in full and low resolution.
It is important to make it easy for people to talk and write about you. Adding a download section to each page makes it easy for event organizers and journalists to get what they need.
To make it even easier for people to get the information they need, we have added a page for the press that includes pictures, biographies in different languages, and a press kit for download.
The schedule page displays a list of upcoming and past events. We added a filter here that allows visitors to check events in a specific country. Visitors can also choose to view the events as a list or in the calendar. Each events also has its own page, where additional information like performers, pieces and program notes can be added
To make it easier to navigate the repertoire list, we have added sections such as "Concerts" and "Sonatas" as well as links to them. The repertoire page also contains a PDF file for download.
To make the site even more unique, we created an icon from the photo of Brannon's cello.
